All Glock 40 Cal Models - I bought a G23 Gen 3 a few months ago and it has become my favorite handgun and I own several. I also picked up a 9mm conversion barrel so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm out of it and it's a great carry or toy gun. If you are thinking of a G19, I would consider a G23 with a rotating barrel. This gun can be converted to shoot 4 different calibers (it comes in 40 s&w, you can get a 9mm or .357 conversion barrel, and you can get a .22 lr conversion kit for it). Great gun all around! I like holding the Gen 4 better than the Gen 3. It feels much more solid in the hand. Size 23 is comfortable to carry but wide enough to absorb and provide a longer image. I also like the idea of a .357 Sig conversion barrel. You can't beat a Glock in my opinion.
All Glock 40 Cal Models
I honestly hate glocks. They were horizontal and large weapons that were not in my hands. Recently my wife was looking for it, we were in the store and while she was looking, the salesperson put the gen 4 in my hand and it felt like a glove. After a little research I found they modeled the 4 after the 1911 grip which I like on 1911s and I like how I can adapt it to the glock. So the 23 gen 4 was the last gun I bought until it broke.
The Glock Encyclopedia Volume 1: The Basics
The first Glock I ever owned and was the first handgun I handled. Fast, smooth and reliable. I have a variety of semis from different manufacturers and this is the best I have shot. The controls are spring loaded and barreled, but even out of the box I can get 5 even groups at 9-12 yards. Thank you.
Bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. Still loving the guns. I'd like to get a Gen 4 someday, but haven't felt the need to. When I was a police officer, I wore it outside of work. Not too much and still plenty of spin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to carry concealed.
Like. I have a gen 5 G19, a friend suggested I upgrade. THE GROWTH OF HAPPINESS. Fits all my Glock 19 holsters with no problem. It can also fire 9mm. I think it's great!
He tried the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love, great gun and different feel. Expect more recoil, but it's more than enough for the scale, it's a good gun. This is not my first Glock, I have a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45, but my G23 feels different.

I love the Glock shop. Lots of videos and great service. I didn't buy my gun here. I am 20 miles from Buds Gun Shop in Lexington, KY. It was my first and only gun. I bought it and didn't shoot it for 2 plus years. shame then rested and met my new friend. I changed in the spring, it made a big difference. This Glock 23 is gen 4. I put large XS dots on it. Now I like it, very fast on target. Her father and you are there. I installed a blacklist barrel and a johnny glock trigger. I put a lot of fire, it's clear when I go up. There's a book called Shooting the Navy There, by Chris Sajnog. I have learned a lot about shooting. chris sajnog was the seal shooting instructor. Money well spent. you can't go wrong with this Glock 23. It does everything a handgun should do. Now you have to do your part and learn to use it. I hope this helps CBH
I bought a Glock 31 which is a Sig 357 caliber with one magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 magazines from Gun Broker but the seller said he couldn't find the magazines to make a long story short. He went out and bought me (2) 40 caliber magazines and confirmed that they would fit the 357 magazines as well. a weapon. Then I bought a 40 ACP barrel. Now I had a Sig 357 pistol and a 40 ACP pistol with three magazines. Then I bought a 9mm pistol conversion and (3) 9mm mags, so I now have 3 different guns for buying one gun and an accessory. Glock Rules!!!!! Then I got the 22LR conversion.
I bought my Glock 23 40 cal almost 20 years ago from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma! This gun has never let me down. This is the best gun I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I used it while working for two police officers. It's a solid gun and I'm glad I have it! I had a sig P 938 in 9mm the trigger pull was terrible and I personally wasn't very accurate. I also have 2 sig p 238 380 on auto again good gun but not very accurate. The frame was also on the thin side, so after 100 laps the arm was a bit tired. Glock 27 is a better choice 1 st. it's about the same size as the p 938, so it's really compact. 2 is 40 cal not 9mm, its 3rd magazine holds 9+1 Vs 6+1 4. I can use my 15 round home loaded magazine so I don't waste time reloading. First of all, this gun is very accurate at 7 yards and I can get 15 shots into a 3 inch circle, plus after 100 shots my hands are not tired. I bought a Glock G 27 Gen 3.
Light, easy to hide. I highly recommend adding your pinky finger because your ring finger gets tired after four rounds of press. With the Gen 4 w/+4 grip, which is my next investment, it might get a little more tiring.
What Gen Is My Glock
Being a retired LEO, I own several handguns (most of them Glocks). This is my all time favorite handgun for concealed carry. The .40 cartridge gets the job done and the gun fires without a miss. I have shot SMJ and Hallow points with no problems. On the list, this little pistol beats my dearest Kimber 1911 .45. What I mean by this is that my Kimber has a real eating disorder. The hand guard is too close to the handle, so you could accidentally brush your finger on the car seat. These problems result in an inability to initiate rapid fire. By the way, my Glock 27 has never misfired or misfired. I can keep shooting while someone else is dealing with issues with other guns. I have come to trust this gun with my life! That's something I can't say about most other guns!
The Crimson Trace handles the G. 27 and shoots 2" groups of Hornady Critical Defense ammo at seven yards. Good luck, brat!
I bought a GLOCK 27 for concealed carry. Being a small handgun loaded with 40 rounds, you can feel the weakness. With practice and repetition, recovery is possible. I put a small SIG Romeo RDS on my G27 and found it easy to find the target again after each shot. Based on my experience with this gun, I recommend this setup if you have problems with recoil control (finding your target due to recoil). For me, this gun is fine for melee (self-defense) aim and shoot, but if there is a short distance between me and the target, the red dot is useful for finding a target under pressure. .
